David & Jess’ Wedding | St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church | DoubleTree by Hilton & Yamashiro Hollywood | Los Angeles, CA
There are some wedding days that stay with you long after you’ve packed away your camera. The details, the laughter, the beauty, the joy captured. David and Jess’s wedding was one of those days. From the anticipation of the morning preparations to the reverence of their Nuptial Mass, every part of their day reflected something so much greater than themselves.
David and Jess were blessed to enter into the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony in the breathtaking St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, a church that, in my opinion, is the most beautiful church in all of Los Angeles.
One of my favorite parts of every wedding day is capturing the details found in the morning during one of the biggest celebrations in two people’s lives. There is something incredibly beautiful about those moments. The inside jokes between groomsmen. The laughter shared between bridesmaids. The details of the cufflinks and the fine stitching of the bride’s dress. The final touches before stepping into one of the most important vocations of their lives.
Jess and David radiated joy throughout the entire morning. Every detail reflected timeless elegance, but what stood out most wasn’t the dress or the jewelry, it was the joy seen between the couple starting with their loved ones that surrounded them until they were met at the altar.

Walking through the doors of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church feels as if you have been instantly transported to a magnificent city in Italy. The towering architecture, gilded statues of the saints, vibrant colors illuminating every corner of the church, intricate wood carvings, gleaming marble, and carefully crafted details all draw the heart toward Heaven. Every element of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church reflects the beauty and reverence of the sacred liturgy, reminding us that the Church was built not simply to inspire admiration, but to lift our souls toward God. It is a place where Heaven feels just a little closer.
Against this breathtaking backdrop, David’s classic black tuxedo and Jess’s timeless white gown beautifully complemented the grandeur of the sanctuary. Yet, as stunning as the church was, its greatest beauty was revealed the moment they stood before the altar to exchange their vows. Surrounded by this breathtaking architecture, David and Jess exchanged their vows before God in a setting worthy of such a profound vocation. It was an immense privilege to witness and document such a beautiful and sacred day.

What made this day even more extraordinary was witnessing a Traditional Latin Solemn High Nuptial Mass celebrated within these sacred walls. There is something profoundly moving about experiencing the timeless beauty of the ancient liturgy in a church that was so clearly designed for it. The Traditional Latin Mass is not often celebrated at this location, making this wedding an especially rare and beautiful occasion to witness.

It was one of those moments that stays with you long after the day is over, reminding you why the beauty of the Catholic faith continues to inspire generations.
There’s a kind of joy that simply can’t be hidden—and David and Jess have that kind of love.

From the moment they’re together, it’s impossible not to notice the way they naturally bring out the very best in one another. Their laughter fills every room, the kind that is genuine, carefree, and completely contagious. They aren’t afraid to be playful, to exchange silly glances, or to burst into laughter over the smallest moments. Being around them, you can’t help but smile right along with them.
What I loved most about photographing them was how authentic they were. There was never a need to force a pose or manufacture a moment. Whether they were laughing together, whispering something only the other could hear, or simply standing hand in hand, every interaction reflected the deep affection they have for one another. Their love wasn’t just something you could see—it was something you could feel.
It’s the kind of relationship that reminds you that the greatest love stories aren’t made up of grand gestures alone, but of countless little moments shared together. The quiet smiles. The uncontrollable laughter. The playful teasing. The lingering glances. Those are the moments that reveal a love rooted in genuine friendship, and watching David and Jess begin their marriage with that kind of joy was an absolute gift to witness.
May your marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for His Church. May Our Lord and Our Lady abundantly bless your marriage.

“We are still looking through everything and it’s breathtakinly beautiful. You’re truly a God send, thank you so much!! My heart skipped a beat too many times looking through the gallery!!”
